Racism in Death Care 2.0 The Conversation Must Continue
Description
In this second installment of the Racism in Death Care © that Anita Pollard Grant and I have coming up on June 18th, 2021. Last year, we had the honor of exploring and discussing racial bias, ignorance, and prejudice that exist in the death care industry with several vulnerable and brave funeral, death, and health care professionals. This time around our conversation will focus on microaggressions, macroaggressions, exercising emotional intelligence, cultural appropriation, "reverse" racism, and much more.
For your convenience, we will be hosting two sessions (morning and evening) at 11:00 am EST and 4:30 pm EST. We invite you to join and participate in this safe conversation dedicated to education, progression, and evolution personally and professionally. This course is approved for 1.5 CE credit hours by APFSP.
